Old Town Showers

My wife was not about to let a little rain spoil her birthday celebration, so I took her to the Cheesecake Factory for diner.

About the artwork: I did the pen & ink sketch during appetizers. My wife and I chatted as I sketched. When the meal arrived, I put away my artwork to give her my full attention…and the meal. I did the watercolor painting at home from memory.
