Celebrate Gamble House

In November of 2022, I was invited to participate in the ‘Celebrate Gamble House Museum Store’ event. It was a great honor, as I am a longtime fan of the Gamble House.

Since my time was split between painting and talking to guests and visitors, I didn’t complete the painting that day. I prefer to complete plein air paintings in one sitting. Sometimes, it’s a challenge to catch to freshness and spontaneity of painting onsite. This painting sat in my studio unfinished for three months. I finally found the motivation to complete it. I believe it was worth the wait. I hope you agree.
